lotion

Today I decided to try a "Naked" brand drink.  It was the protein shake kind and it was cream colored and pretty thick.  I took it out of my purse and started drinking it in class.  

One of my students looked up and saw me drinking it and said, "Ew yucky Miss Amber! Why are you drinking lotion silly?"

And, to her defense it did look like I was drinking lotion. Ew!

hid vs. hit

ok here's one for ya (although i already told amber this one in person). kian was asking me where daddy's father's day present was and i told him that i hid it, to which he responded "you hit it? like with a bat?"

me: "no no, i didn't hit it, i HID it...like in a hiding place."

kian: "oh...you hit it like with your elbow?"

at which point i gave up trying to explain.
